Kashmir Ruby
A Ruby is a pink to blood-red colored gemstone, a variety of the mineral corundum (aluminium oxide). Ruby is one of the traditional cardinal gems, together with amethyst, sapphire, emerald, and diamond. The word ruby comes from ruber, Latin for red. The color of a ruby is due to the element chromium.
Rubies are also mined in Afghanistan and Pakistan. In Pakistani Kashmir there are vast proven reserves of millions of rubies, worth up to half a billion dollars. However, as of 2017 there is one mine (at Chitta Katha). In Afghanistan, rubies are mined at Jegdalek. In Sri Lanka, lighter shades of rubies (often "pink sapphires") are more commonly found.
Most Beautiful Village, Arial View of Kundalshai, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan.
Kundal Shahi A Beauty Of Nature (Urdu: کنڈل شاہی ; locally: kunḍal šai) is a village and tourist resort in the Neelam Valley in northern Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It has a scattered settlement area, located on both sides of the Jagran Nallah River. It is a few minutes walking distance from the Neelam Valley highway, some 74 kilometers (46 mi) by road from Muzaffarabad.
The majority of the population are of the Qureshi ethnic group, and there are small numbers of people from the Sheikh, Mughal, and Sayyid groups. Members of the Qureshi community, numbering about 3,000 people, speak the Kundal Shahi language. It is an endangered language as it is not being learned by the younger generation, who are shifting to Hindko, the language of wider communication in the area.

Most tattooed female senior citizen passes away
Isobel Varley 1937-2015:
By Kevin Lynch
Published
Guinness
World Records has learnt with great sadness of the passing of Isobel
Varley, world record holder for Most tattooed senior citizen (female),
who died yesterday at the age of 78.
An iconic figure within the body modification community, Isobel had an incredible 93 per cent of her body covered with tattoos.
Born
in Yorkshire (UK) before eventually moving to the south of England as a
youngster, Isobel was surprisingly something of a latecomer to body
art, having had her first tattoo when she was in her late 40s.
A
visit to a tattoo convention at London’s Hammersmith Palais in 1986 saw
her go under the needle for the first time, kicking off an obsession
which saw her have an incredible 200 pieces of body art inked over a
ten-year period. During that time Isobel estimated she spent over 500
hours having her body decorated.
Explaining
how her interest in body decorations developed, Isobel said:
“Originally, I was only ever going to have one - a small bird - but I
fell in love with it, and developed an addiction.'
“The only areas not completely tattooed is my face, the soles of my feet my ears and some area on my hands."
A
regular at tattoo conventions around the world, she entered her first
competition in 1989 "for a tattoo on my back., but that's when I first
heard of the "full bodysuit" category"
Isobel’s
record was confirmed during an appearance on Italian TV programme Lo
Show dei Record, back in April 2009. The clip below shows an appearance
Isobel made on UK TV show Guinness World Records back in 1999 when just
72 per cent of her body was covered in tattoos.

The bull dog ant earned its name because of its ferocity and determination during an attack. It is extremely aggressive and shows little fear of human beings, stinging a number of times in quick succession and therefore injecting more venom with each bite. In an attack, the ant will hold on to its victim with long, toothed mandibles, curl its body underheath and thrust its long barbless sting into the skin. On a few occasions this sting has been enough to kill adults within 15 minutes.
